Tata Punch sports excellent design features. The dashboard is lovely with body-colored air vents & infotainment system. The fabrics are of high quality, and the touch & feel of the plastics are good.

The Safety Features include but are not limited to: Dual Airbags, Reverse Cameras,  Auto Headlamps, Rain Sensing Wipers, Fortified Cabin,  ABD & EBD with break sway control, ISOFIX Support

Tata Punch is powered by a 1.2 Liter Revotron Engine (Petrol). The 1199 CC, 3 Cylinder engine produces 86 PS of power and 113 Nm torque. This is the only engine option available now.

You may expect Turbo Petrol Engine and an Electric variant in the future. However, the Tata Punch may not be available in the diesel variant. The Tata Punch EV will be the cheapest electric SUV.

Tata Punch is available in 5-speed manual transmission, and an AMT version is also available. The Tata Punch AMT will be the best buy if you commute through bumper-to-bumper traffic every day.

The 1.2 Liter Petrol engine produces enough power & torque to zip through the city traffic and highway. It may not be as peppy as other small cars, but the performance is great for everyday driving.

Tata Punch real-world speed test resulted in: · 0-60 km per hour in 7.23 seconds · 0-100 km per hour in 16.44 seconds · 20-80 km per hour in 17.26 seconds

The claimed Tata Punch mileage is 18.82 km per liter. It is possible to get 18 kmpl on the highway. However, when you drive through bumper-to-bumper traffic, the mileage will drop to 11.5 kmpl.

Tata Punch has a competition with Renault Kiger and Nissan Magnite. However, these two cars cost more. Older models such as Maruti Suzuki Ignis and Mahindra KUV 100 may not threaten Tata Punch.
